USA Archery Instructor Certification Practical Portion Information

Navigating USA Archery Website to complete all prerequisite online course work.

  • Become An All Access USA Archery member (If not already)
  • Login to the scheduling system, Sport 80
  • Click on the USA Archery Courses on left menu

  • Scroll to the Level 1 OR Level 2 Online Course and click enter now

  • Follow all the prompts and complete the online course work
  • Make sure to complete the background check and the Safe Sport Training for Instructors 18 or older
  • There is online work that must be completed before you will be allowed to register for the practical course
  • If you take Level 1 now and plan to take Level 2 later, you will be required to retake the Level 1 portion again
  • The fee listed here is only for the practical portion
  • Class will be held outside. Dress for weather. (Shelter available in case of rain. Severe weather may cause course to be rescheduled.)
  • Bring water and food. There will be a short lunch break for Level 2 instructors but you should bring your lunch as there isn’t time to go off-site.

Level 1 Course – $65

“Level 1 Instructor training is open to all USA Archery and NFAA members aged 15 and older.”

The course covers teaching archery basics to beginners, creating safe shooting environments, and running archery programs.

Level 2 Course – $100

“Level 2 Instructor training is open to all USA Archery and NFAA members aged 18 and older.”

This builds on Level 1, covering instruction techniques and equipment management. “Students must attend both the Level 1 and Level 2 sessions.”
