Vision
To educate youth and adults in the sport of archery.
Mission
To create an all-inclusive community for all archers regardless of shooting style, competitive status, age, race, gender, ability, or sexual orientation.
- To promote archery in the general community.
- To foster local, national, and international amateur competition and support and develop amateur athletes for these competitions.
Goal
Develop an archery program in this region of the US for competitive and recreational archers with assistance from grants and donors with an indoor and outdoor facility that can host archery tournaments.

Kat became involved in archery in 2012 and has been coaching since 2018. She started out as an archery mom with a highly competitive archer son. She helped form Central Texas Archery in 2017 and has served as president since its founding. Kat has coached archers of all ages and abilities. She is the coach trainer for Central Texas Archery, in addition to training over 100 coaches in the Austin area as USA Archer Instructors and NASP BAIs. Kat coaches at the Central Texas Archery range at Ranch Park in Dripping Springs as part of their City Parks and Rec Department. She also coaches at multiple schools in Austin and has taken teams to State and National competitions. Kat has received grants from Texas Parks and Wildlife which helped fund the start of programs at several Title 1 Schools in Austin, has Launched programs at LASA and Anderson High Schools, and has been instrumental in the development of other school programs. Kat is most proud of her coaching both her archers and archery coaches.
